“Play Pretend,” is a minimalist one-line drawing created intuitively, using my left hand and eyes closed. The image highlighted in yellow reveals a figure hiding under a fort bedsheets, pretending to be an astronaut. It’s a reminder of the wonder we experienced as kids, when our imagination could turn a blanket into a spaceship. A time when we felt anything was possible.
